Kayci is a 27 year old Christian housewife. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Mr. Fix-it, for 8 years. Together they have four children, Baloney (5yr old boy), Burrito (3yr old boy), Crunchy (1yr old girl), and a new baby boy (yet to be aliased). Kayci started off marriage pretty domestically challenged, but her love of home and family combined with her passion for learning are driving her to discover the fine arts of homemaking on her own. She loves experimenting and creating and is constantly looking for ways to do things naturally and frugally. Kayci feels so fortunate that her husband works hard to give her the freedom to stay at home. She spends her days loving her husband, home educating her children, tending her urban farm animals and garden, being creative and researching things that intrigue her.
Kayci has been blogging since 2007. Modern Christian Housewife, launched in 2010, is her most recent blog project. Through Modern Christian Housewife she hopes to share her life in an honest yet entertaining way. She gives insight into the struggles and triumphs, drudgery and excitement of a housewife learning and growing as a godly woman in the midst of modern culture.
